The kids started back to school on Monday August 17th. They were pretty happy to be back home and to see all their friends again. Sugar was really happy to have us all back!
Wes is a junior this year, and he is taking physics, algebra 2, modern asian perspectives, english11, and mandarin 2, with desktop publishing/design and music performance & recording as his electives. Next semester his electives will change to digital photography and weight training.
Kasey is a sophomore this year, and is taking english 10, mandarin 2, US history/government, chemistry, and geometry, with personal defense and desktop publishing/design as her electives. Next semester her electives will change to textile design and Fitness for the Body and Mind. Singapore American School has so many courses to choose from! It was hard for them to decide what they wanted to take. Shelby and I think that it's really neat for them to take Mandarin, and it has come in handy more than once!
