As if riding ATV's wasn't enough excitement for one day, we stopped by Tiger Kingdom for some play time with the tigers. We chose to go in the yard with the "medium" sized tigers, meaning 8 to 10 months old yet very big and strong! It was a little scary at first, being that close to something with such big teeth! We made sure that the tigers were well fed before we went in!
Do you think this tiger felt threated by Shelby at all?
The tigers loved chewing on coconut shells
They were very frisky!
OK what in the world was I thinking? This tiger was just so soft, and I wanted to love on it just like I love on my dog Sugar at home.

This is my "I'm so scared I'm laughing" face when I can't decide whether to laugh or cry. My family knows this face very well. They kept teasing me because I talked to the tigers.("good boy! please don't bite me!")
I wish I had a picture of what happened AFTER this photo was taken! The tiger jumped up suddenly, and so did Wes! :) I didn't know Wesley could move that fast....
